For a little while I had an idea to bring together all of the festival wear designers I know in Bristol for a fun pre-season market in the city without expensive festival pitch fees… I told my wonderful friend Beth who runs Bzzaar, a regular themed jumble sale, and with her help & expertise we put on FESTIJUMBLE!
We did it in the courtyard of no.51s on the same day as Rave on Avon, a little multi-venue day festival in Stokes Croft run by the wonderful people at Brisfest. A whole host of us were there including my ever talented friend Lucie who as well as working at no.51s was also selling her wares as Capes Capes Capes and supplying some of the soundtrack singing as China Bowls…! Despite the on and off showers it really was a little slice of summer.
