It really doesn’t feel very long since the last festival fashion showcase at That Thing but summer come around quickly! This year it was a lovely family affair with a lot of familiar faces but also some new talent bringing the number of independent designers stocked in That Thing up to a whopping 65.
New designers
I came with my blogger pals straight from the Crown and Glory workshop so we were suitably attired for the event! Alongside my new silky wares and headdresses were That Thing’s new summer collection and heaps of Bristol based brands. These included a few new designers like my pal Lucie and her Capes Capes Capes as well as the wonderful Insane in the Rain who make 100% recycled plastic raincoats – how great is that? Watch out for some future collaborations with them.
Boys Club
Fabulous new female DJ collective Boys Club were on hand to bring the boogie and as always cocktails were flowin’.
