Get Fruity!! Fancy Dress Inspiration for Shindig Festival ’19

19 May, 2019 | Festival Themes, Style

Next weekend is the official start to my summer festival season (!!) This year I’m swapping out my usual trusty summer opener, Love Saves the Day, with my first ever Shindig Festival… which is handily still only an hour down the road from me in Bristol!

Of course I love a bit of dress up and I especially love a good theme (organised fun is the best kind of fun ofc) so one of the things I’m most excited for at Shindig is their 2019 fancy dress theme… ‘Get Fruity!!’

Here’s a bit of fruity festival inspiration…

This moodboard is brought to you by towering tropical headpieces, zesty creative make-up and my favourite watermelon Fantale Fan! Find all the original image sources on the pinterest board here.

The fruitiest of headpieces (and faces!) kindly lent to me by Neat Frontage along with an amazing grass catsuit you can just about see… photo by Chris Cooper.

I’m still not quite sure what I’m going to go as… Maybe a banana in homage to my football team? Or perhaps a full fruit salad? Find out next weekend, I’ll be covering the festival for the wonderful Where’s My Tent blog!

Really funny and beautiful things I have seen ever. You gather a crazy collection and bring to front us. Next weekend me and my girlfriend going out to enjoy some moments together. And I try this item with her. She looks more attractive with it.

This collection is a treasure trove of amusing and exquisite finds. It’s incredible how you’ve curated such a quirky array of items, putting them in the spotlight for all of us to enjoy.
