Drumroll, please! It’s that time again!
Not technically the start of my festival season as I’m very lucky to have squeezed a little jaunt to Beat Hotel in Marrakech in this year already. Spring festivals are a blessing as summer these days is so busy for me… that’s what happens when you get your dream job working full time on a festival, you don’t actually have that much time to go to any others!
But of course I’ve managed to squeeze a few in and I’m excited to be shaking things up a bit this summer and trying some new ones…
Shindig
May – Somerset
Swapping out Love Saves the Day for another local hero, this year will be my first at Shindig Weekender! I’m heading there with my mum and reviewing it over on Where’s My Tent blog – I can’t wait!
‘Get Fruity’ Costume Inspiration for Shindig Festival
Forbidden Fruits
June – Dublin!
Not only am I heading to my first festival in Ireland (first time in Ireland full stop!) but I’m also going as a bridesmaid at the inflatable church! I have no idea what to expect but the line-up is pretty great and I’ll be heading there with my best mate, pop in and see us to get a slice of unholy matrimony…
Parklife
June – Manchester
City day festivals aren’t HUGELY my thing but Parklife is one of the big ones and has an amazing line-up this year so I thought it would be rude if I didn’t try it out at least once!
Glastonbury
June – Somerset
Oh wow. Needs no introduction really, only my favourite place on the planet! I’m extra excited to be back after the fallow year and beyond chuffed to be able to tell you that I’ll be there doing some social media work with Shangri-La there! Come find me down in the naughty corner…

Noisily
July – Leicestershire
So very pleased to be ticking this one off my bucket list!! I’ve been eyeing it up for a while, they’ve got a beautiful site and a really solid ethos, I can’t wait to see what it’s like. I’ll be heading there for my girls from Burnt Soul, check their socials over the weekend to see what we get up to!
Boomtown
August – Hampshire
I may be a bit biased but there’s nothing quite like Boomtown… the second largest independent festival in the UK it’s’s quite literally like walking into a film set.
In case you didn’t already know, I work full time on Boomtown’s digital strategy over the whole year so this one is more work than play for me but still very exciting seeing everyone’s hard work coming together! I’ll be there
A bit of what I get up to day to day…
Shambala
August – Northamptonshire
After 5 beautiful years in the Fashpack tent selling my wares and painting faces, this year I am taking a break and volunteering in the festival press office instead. I can’t wait to be back at this one, I need to start making my costume for the carnival soon…!
Aaaaand I’ll probably squeeze something in September too! Where have you got planned this summer festival season?! Let me know in the comments!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAS I love a good festival!!! Ugh, I wish I could go to an international one, but this year I’ll probably just stick to the domestic ones (I’m in the USA).
