My fellow festival blogger Jessi aka Where’s My Tent and I are big fans of a Facebook festival chat group… and big fans of chatting about festivals in general! But whilst there are big and lively groups for most of our favourite festivals, there aren’t any particularly good ones for UK festivals in general! So, we’ve started a brand new Facebook group; UK Festivals – music, fields & fun!
What’s the UK Festivals Facebook Group all about?
The group is a new community discussing the wonderful and diverse festivals we have here on this island, from the big well-known ones to the smaller independents. We’ve created it to show our support for the events industry, to tell our favourite festival stories, and to plan for upcoming days spent in fields! We hope it will be an amazing platform to spread the word about the hidden gems of the UK festival scene and spark interesting conversation around the future of festivals in general.
We plan to have lots of themed threads in the future and a big focus on not just the best festivals but also topics like festival sustainability, music and more. We’re already nearly at 600 members and the chat and anecdotes have been top-notch so far with such an array of different people in the group of all ages and backgrounds!

UK Festivals Chat on Clubhouse
Who’s on Clubhouse!? I’ve become a little obsessed with this new speech-based app over the past few weeks! Recently a group of us have started regularly hosting a ‘UK festival chat’ room on there. So far we’ve covered some light topics such as our favourite festival memories and great festival hacks; we’ve got heaps more planned and we’re aiming to delve into some deeper topics in the future too.
I’ll be moderating the rooms alongside Jessi as well as our pal Luisa-Christie and my good friend Becky! I found the last two chats laugh out loud levels of funny so follow me on @du1cie on Clubhouse to be notified when we next do a room.
Pin this post to remind you about our facebook festival group!
